Retail tech startup Wogom raises $1.9 M
Wogom, an Ahmedabad-based retail tech startup, has raised USD 1.9 million from family offices and other early-stage investors. The funding, which was raised in two tranches - USD 600,000 a couple of months earlier and USD 1.3 million now - will be utilised for further market expansion beyond Gujarat, and to invest in technology, Wogom offers a cloud-based platform for enabling the distribution and retailer ecosystem to better penetrate hinterland India, with a special focus on consumer electronics and mobile phone categories.
