Robot solutions provider Alphadroid raises $3.8 M led by Alkemi Growth Capital
Noida-based robotics and conversational AI solutions provider Alphadroid has raised INR 36-Cr (USD 3.8-M) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Alkemi Growth Capital, with participation from Shree Vasu Logistics Ltd (SVLL) and high-net-worth individuals.Founded in 2023 by Sanjeev Kumar and incubated at IIIT Lucknow, Alphadroid provides AI-powered robots via a subscription-based "robot-as-a-service" model. Its current product portfolio includes five types of robots capable of handling payloads ranging from 40 kg to 250 kg. The company serves clients across the hospitality, healthcare, retail, and public infrastructure industries.The new funds will be used to expand its product portfolio, acquire new clients, and grow its team with a focus on engineering and research and development. The firm also intends to develop specialised solutions for the healthcare sector and expand its services into the logistics and warehousing segment.
