Rocket propulsion systems maker SpaceFields raises Rs.42-Cr

Bengaluru-based SpaceFields has raised INR 42 crore (about USD 5 million) in its pre-Series A funding round co-led by Globaz Technologies, Rockstud Capital and Venture Catalysts. The round also saw participation from Rainmatter Capital, Burla Angel Network, Faad Capital, SIDBI, O2 Angels, and the MeitY Startup Hub.Founded in 2021 by Apurwa Masook, Rounak Agrawal and Sudarshan Samal, SpaceFields designs and manufactures rocket propulsion systems for both civilian and military use, covering aerospace, defence, and space applications.The firm will use the new funds to scale up its manufacturing capacity, obtain regulatory approvals, and expand its team in engineering, operations, and business roles.

In Feb 2024, SpaceFields had attracted funding from HVB 88 Angels and O2 Angels Network. Vinners, Burla Angels and others.
