Rooftop solar co. Zunroof raises Rs.25-Cr more led by Godrej Family Office
Gurugram-based rooftop solar startup Zunroof has raised another INR 25.14 crore (USD 2.85 million) in fresh funds led by ANBG Enterprise LLP (Godrej Family Office) with the participation of angel investors John Diaz and S Sunil Edwards. Zunroof would issue 47,986 equity shares at INR 5,239 each to raise the sum.Founded in 2016, ZunRoof designs, installs, and finances rooftop solar solutions. Since 2020, it has also expanded into the smart home space with a range of IoT-enabled products.With the new investment, it has raised over USD 15 million to date. Godrej holds a majority stake of more than 70% in the company.
Between Apr 2019 and Dec 2024, ZunRoof had attracted about USD 7 M from Godrej Family Office and others.For FY24, ZunRoof’s operating revenue declined 11.46% to INR 26.43 crore, while its losses narrowed 51.7% to INR 14.24 crore.
