Ruby QC Investment sells its 4.62% stake in Akums Drugs for Rs.312-Cr
Ruby QC Investment Holdings Pte, an entity associated with Quadria Capital, has divested its entire stake of 72.78 lakh shares, representing 4.62% of the paid-up equity in Delhi-based, publicly listed Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals . The shares were sold to ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund for INR 311.5 crore, at an average price of INR 428 per share.Founded in 2004 by Shri Sanjeev Jain and Shri Sandeep Jain, Akums Drugs operates as a pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing company offering oral solids, liquids, sterile injectables and hormonal treatments.
In Dec 2019, Akums Drugs had attracted about USD 70 M from Quadria.For FY25, Akums Drugs had reported about INR 4,118 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 344 Cr in PAT.
