Pune-based sales hiring firm Scooter has raised INR 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Aviral VC. The investment marks the first backing of a Pune-based company by the fund.Founded in 2024 by Kartik Mandrekar and Saumya Seth, the firm provides a recruitment platform that assesses sales candidates through role-relevant exercises. The company claims to work with more than 50 clients, maintaining a pool of over 10,000 sales professionals.The firm plans to use the new funds to strengthen its product and streamline the process of matching startups with sales professionals.
