Sasken Tech acquires IoT co. Borqs
Bengaluru-based, publicly listed Sasken Technologies Ltd, has completed acquisition of Santa Clara, CA, USA- and Bengaluru-based Borqs International Holding Corp . Hareesh Ramana, one of the founders of Borqs Technologies and managing director of Borqs India will join the Sasken leadership team as part of this acquisition.Borqs is a player in embedded software and products for the Internet of Things (IoT), providing customizable, differentiated, and scalable Android-based smart connected devices and cloud service solutions.
In Mar 2017, Borqs had attracted about USD 10 M from Accel India and Qualcomm Ventures.For FY24, Borqs had reported about INR 98 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 8 Cr in PAT.
