Satlabs Space Systems raises $1-M from Finvolve, IA
Bengaluru-based space startup Satlabs Space Systems has raised USD 1 million in a funding round from Finvolve & India Accelerator (IA).Co-founded in 2023 by Sooraj Gopakumar and Saisree Eega, Satlabs addresses a bottleneck in the space ecosystem that delays in downlinking earth observation data due to limited ground station coverage. The startup’s data relay solution aims to reduce latency from hours to minutes, and eventually near real time, enabling critical applications across defence, agriculture, disaster response, offshore energy, and industrial IoT.The proceeds will be used to accelerate R&D, advance satellite deployment plans, and scale its data relay network.
