School financier Varthana secures $10-M from BlueOrchard Finance
ChrysCapital-backed, Bengaluru-headquartered school financier Varthana Finance has raised USD 10 million debt from a fund managed by global impact investor BlueOrchard Finance. Varthana provides loans to affordable private schools and students.Established in 2013, Varthana aims to make education accessible to over 10 million students by 2025. Its assets under management (AUM) currently stand at over INR 1,200 crore.
