Semiconductor firm Agrani Labs in talks to raise Rs.850-Cr from Samsung, 360 ONE, others

Bengaluru-based semiconductor firm Agrani Labs is in talks to raise between INR 800 crore and INR 850 crore in a new funding round. The round is expected to see participation from South Korean conglomerate Samsung, 360 One Asset Management, and the company's existing backer, Peak XV Partners.Founded in 2024 by Dheemanth Nagaraj, Ashok Jagannathan, Srikanth Nimmagadda and Rajesh Vivekanandham, Agrani Labs builds AI graphics processing units (GPUs) and end-to-end software for enterprise and datacenter compute. The firm intends to use the potential capital infusion to support its research and development initiatives.The firm is also planning to apply for approximately INR 120 crore to INR 130 crore in funding under the government-backed Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) scheme.
