Semiconductor metrology co. Makr Microsystems raises Rs.10.2 Cr led by Bluehill VC
Bengaluru-based semiconductor metrology company Makr Microsystems has raised INR 10.2 crore in a seed round led by Bluehill VC, with participation from Artha Venture Fund.Founded in 2024 by Ashwin Lal, Makr develops nanoscale 3D subsurface metrology technology, which enables chipmakers to observe and measure hidden structures and defects beneath semiconductor surfaces without damaging the chip. The company’s solutions integrate Acoustic Atomic Force Microscopy (AAFM), optical tomography, and 3D data analytics.Makr intends to use the proceeds for technology development, customer validation, and commercialisation.
