Semiconductors maker Calligo raises $1.1 M led by Seafund, Artha India Ventures
Bengaluru-based semiconductor startup Calligo Technologies has raised USD 1.1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Seafund and Artha India Ventures. It had previously raised USD 1.57 million from KITVEN and others.The proceeds will be used for research & development (R&D) expenses as well as to hire talent and enhance tech capabilities.Founded in 2012 by Anantha Kinnal, Rajaraman Subramanian, and Vinay N. Hebbali, Calligo develops products and solutions for HPC (High-Performance Computing), Big Data, and AI workloads. The company claims it has collaborated with US universities, national laboratories, and supercomputing centers to improve access to tech talent and soft-launch its operations in the USA.
