Siguler Guff, others explore exit from garment trader Baazar Style Retail
Global growth private equity firm Siguler Guff and other investors in publicly listed Kolkata-based Baazar Retail are exploring options to sell their stake in the company. O3 Capital is acting as the advisor for the transaction, which is expected to value the retailer between INR 4,000-Cr and INR 5,000-Cr. Several private equity funds and strategic investors have been approached for the stake sale.Baazar Retail, which began operations in 2002, is managed by Manoj Khemka, Abhishek Khemka, and Rishab Goenka. The company operates over 250 large-format retail stores across West Bengal and 10 other states, primarily trading in garments, which account for 95% of its revenue, alongside cosmetics, stationery, toys, and household items.
Between Feb 2018 and Jan 2026, Style Baazar had attracted about $ 61 M from Volrado Ventures, Rare Enterprises, Others.For FY25, Style Baazar had reported about INR 1,344 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 15 Cr in PAT.
