Skincare brand Conscious Chemist raises Rs.15-Cr led by Atomic Capital

Gurugram-based skincare brand Conscious Chemist has raised INR 15 crore in a bridge funding round led by Atomic Capital. The round also saw participation from First Port Capital Fund B and IPV International.Founded in 2021 by Robin Gupta and Prakher Mathur, Conscious Chemist claims to offer over 30 products in skincare segment.The company plans to deploy the new funds for talent acquisition, scaling inventory operations and marketing, product innovation, and research and development. It intends to expand its presence on marketplaces and quick commerce platforms and increase market share in categories such as acne, sunscreens, and makeup removal/face cleansers.

In Jul 2024, Conscious Chemist had attracted about USD 1 M from Atomic Capital and others.For FY24, Conscious Chemist had reported about INR 11 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 1 Cr in Net Loss.
