Smart EV charger maker Zenergize raises Rs 33.5 Cr led by Giraffe Studios
Gurugram-based Zenergize Technologies has raised INR 33.5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, comprising equity and venture debt. The round was led by existing investors Giraffe Studios. Other investors participating in the round included Nikhil Sawhney of Triveni Turbine, Varun Agarwal of Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases, Shyam Bagri of Bagrry’s Holdings, Raoul Bajaj of Trafigura, and other angel investors, including Sunil Kalra, Ajith Pai, Sandeep Barasia, Nitin Jain, and Hemant Daga.Founded in 2024 by Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, the company develops indigenous silicon carbide (SiC)-based power electronics, including DC (direct current) fast chargers and solar inverter platforms.Zenergize plans to use the new funds to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen engineering, grow its nationwide service network and sales footprint, accelerate research and development, and build operational capabilities to serve large enterprises and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers.The company has raised a total of INR 50.5 crore, including a previous seed funding round of INR 17 crore.
