Snacks seller Jagdish Farshan raises Rs.43.5 Cr led by Sharrp Ventures
Vadodara-based Jagdish Farshan has raised INR 43.5 crore in a Series A funding round led by Sharrp Ventures, the family office fund of Harsh Mariwala, with participation from a group of angel investors.Established in 1938, Jagdish Farshan sells over 500 snacks, namkeen, and sweets, and operates 27 retail outlets in central Gujarat besides two locations in North America.The company plans to use the new capital to fund geographic expansion, enhance manufacturing and supply-chain capacity, grow retail and institutional distribution, and invest in technology and digital commerce.
For FY25, Jagdish Farshan had reported about INR 82 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4 Cr in PAT.
