Social gaming platform Stan App raises funding from Sony Innovation Fund
Bengaluru-based STAN , a mobile-first social gaming platform, has raised an investment from Sony Innovation Fund, the VC arm of Sony Group Corporation, as part of its ongoing Series A funding round, with participation from Hyderabad Angels Fund (HAF VC).Founded in 2022, STAN aims to build a next-generation social platform for gaming creators and communities. The company currently boasts over 30 million downloads and has significant penetration in India's tier-2 and tier-3 cities.The fresh capital will be utilized to expand AI-led personalization, develop creator monetization tools, strengthen publisher integrations, and accelerate its entry into other mobile-first markets.
Between May-22 and Jul-25, Stan App had attracted about USD 14 M from General Catalyst Partners, Better Capital, Eximius Ventures, Others.For FY24, Stan App had reported about INR 16.98 Cr in Operating Income and about INR .32 Cr in PAT.
