Social gaming platform WinZO launches $20-M fund for game developers
Regional language social gaming platform WinZO has announced a USD 20 million fund for the Indian game developer ecosystem. It will cut cheques between USD 100,000 and USD 1 million in exchange for equity and deeper integration with its technology stack from its current fund. WinZO had announced a USD 1.5 million maiden fund in July 2019 and a USD 5 million second fund in November last year. The startup has deployed the capital between small local and international studios, which have developed close to 70 games listed on its platform.
