Social media app ShareChat raises $145-M from Temasek, Moore, Mirae
Bengaluru-based content-sharing unicorn ShareChat has raised USD 145 million in a Series F funding round, at a valuation of USD 2.88 billion. Temasek and Moore Strategic Ventures led the new financing round along with Mirae-Naver Asia Growth fund. The company has now raised a total funding of USD 911 million. The latest fundraise comes three months after the firm secured USD 502 million at a valuation of USD 2.1 billion. The fresh funds will be used for accelerating user growth, augmenting a robust creator economy, and in efforts towards building an artificial intelligence capabilities.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Jul-20 and Apr-21, Sharechat raised over $540-M from India Quotient, Lightspeed Ventures, Tiger Global, TrustBridge Partners, Shunwei Capital, Elevation Capital and others.
