SoftBank further trims stake in Paytm by 2.17 %

SoftBank has sold a further stake in listed fintech firm Paytm (One97 Communications). From a 17.5 % stake in Paytm in September 2022, SoftBank now holds only 2.83 % of the payments startup. This reduction in ownership has been o ngoing for over a year, with the most recent sales occurring in January 2024. The stake reduction was revealed in an exchange filing on February 29.
