SoftBank sells 2.58% stake in eyewear retailer Lenskart worth Rs.2,888-Cr
SoftBank Group, through its affiliate SVF II Lightbulb (Cayman), has sold a 2.58% equity stake in listed eyewear retailer Lenskart for INR 2,887.87 crore. The transaction was executed through block deals on August 24, with the shares exchanging hands at INR 641.75 per share. Following this transaction, SoftBank’s shareholding in the firm has decreased from 9.86% to 7.28%.
SoftBank Corp first invested in Lenskart in Dec 2019. The company went public in Oct 2025, as part of which, SoftBank Corp had made a part exit. It subsequently sold shares in Jun 2026.For FY25, Lenskart had reported about INR 5,248 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 476 Cr in PAT.
