SoftBank sells PolicyBazaar shares worth Rs.1,043-Cr; registers 2x return

SoftBank Corp has sold an about 5% stake in publicly-listed PB Fintech Ltd (which owns insurtech service PolicyBazaar) fetching about INR 1,043 crore. Post the sale, SoftBank would hold another 5% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jun 2018, SoftBank Corp and others invested INR 1,600 crore PB Fintech Ltd. Subsequently, SoftBank Corp invested more in the company. The company went public in Nov 2021 and SoftBank Corp had made a part exit as part of the IPO.
