SoftBank to buy 30% stake in logistics SaaS firm Unicommerce: Report
SoftBank has picked up a 25-30% stake in New Delhi-based, Snapdeal-owned Unicommerce, which provides e-commerce enablement software for multichannel selling, inventory and warehouse management.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In 2015, Nexus Ventures and Tiger Global-backed Unicommerce was acquired by Snapdeal for an undisclosed sum. SoftBank had led mega investments in Snapdeal in 2014-15, before deciding to back rival Flipkart in 2017 (after failed merger talks between the two home-grown horizontal e-commerce firms).
