Softbank to sell 10% stake worth $250-M in Policybazaar IPO
PB Fintech, the parent entity of online personal finance marketplaces Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with markets regulator Sebi to raise INR 6,017 crore (USD 809 million) through an initial public offering (IPO). SoftBank Vision Fund Python, which has a 9.75% stake, is expected to cash in on around INR 1,875 crore (USD 250 million) worth of shares through the OFS. Policybazaar's founders — including chief executive Yashish Dahiya — are expected to together sell shares worth INR 392.50 crore (USD 52 million).
