Solfin Sustainable Finance raises Rs.280-Cr

Gurugram-based Solfin Sustainable Finance has raised INR 280 crore in a funding round that included Waaree Sustainable Finance.Founded in 2022 by Gautam Kaushik and Pramod Mahanta, Solfin is a digital-first lending platform that specializes in clean-energy financing. The company provides loans, leasing, and credit solutions to make clean energy accessible for residential rooftops, commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, and the solar supply chain.The new funds will support credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, geographic expansion into underpenetrated states, and the development of new green-financing products. The company also intends to enter new customer segments beyond its current focus.
