Space-tech co. Astrobase in talks to raise $50-M led by Peak XV
Bengaluru-based space-tech company Astrobase is in talks to raise USD 40-50 M in a funding round led by Peak XV Partners. The proposed investment is expected to value the company at approximately USD 250-300-M.Founded by a team of engineers, Astrobase develops two-stage reusable launch vehicles. These vehicles are designed to carry payloads weighing between three and 10 tonnes. The firm is targeting an initial orbital launch in 2028. It intends to use the new funds to support its ongoing research and development efforts.
Jul 2025, Astrobase had attracted about $ 7 M from others.For FY25, Astrobase had reported about INR 3 Cr in Net loss.
