Space-tech co. InspeCity raises $5.6 M led by Ashish Kacholia
Mumbai-based spacetech startup InspeCity has raised USD 5.6 million (INR 47.28 crore) in its seed funding round led by Ashish Kacholia (via Lucky Investment Managers) with participation from Speciale Invest, MountTech Growth Fund (MGF) Kavachh, Shastra VC and existing investors Antler India, DeVC India and Anicut Capital. The proceeds will be used for technology development and demonstration.Founded in 2022 by IIT-Bombay professor Arindrajit Chowdhury and his student Tausif Shaikh, InspeCity is building in-orbit satellite servicing and deorbiting solutions.
In Apr 2023, InspeCity had raised about USD 1.5 M from Anicut Capital, Antler India, DeVC India, PointOne Capital, Shastra VC and Speciale Invest.
