Space-tech co. InspeCity raises Rs.100-Cr led by Speciale Invest, Ashish Kacholia.
Mumbai-based space-tech startup InspeCity has raised INR 100 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Speciale Invest and Ashish Kacholia. The round also saw participation from Antler Elevate, Antler India, Manish Gandhi, and Shastra VC.Founded in 2022 by IIT-Bombay professor Arindrajit Chowdhury and his student Tausif Shaikh, InspeCity designs and develops autonomous in-space servicing systems intended to inspect, refuel, and repair satellites in orbit to extend their operational lifespan.The company plans to use the new funds to support flight qualification, commercial deployment, and capacity expansion for its engineering and manufacturing operations.
Between Apr 2023 and Mar 2025, InspeCity had attracted about $ 7 M from Anicut Capital, Antler India, Ashish Kacholia, DeVC India, Mounttech Growth Fund, Shastra VC, Speciale Invest, PointOne Capital.
