Space-tech co. OmSpace Rocket and Exploration bags $3-M
Ahmedabad-based OmSpace Rocket and Exploration has raised USD 3 Million (around INR 26 crore) in a pre-seed round led by family offices and angel investors.Founded in 2020 by Ravindra Raj Binod Mistri, Maulik Mota and Stutika Padamshali, OmSpace will use the funds to develop the firm’s modular launch vehicle, Infinity One, specially designed for low earth orbit satellite missions supporting a payload of 350 kg at an altitude of 800 km.OmSpace was incubated at CrAdLE (Centre for Advancing & Launching Enterprises), part of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII). It was also part of Amazon Web Services’ spacetech accelerator programme.
In Jan 2025, Omspace Rocket And Exploration had attracted about USD 0.50 M from Thinkuvate.
