Space-tech startup Catalyx raises $1.7 M

Bengaluru-based space-tech startup Catalyx Space has attracted USD 1.7 million (around INR 14.7 crore) in its pre-seed funding round led by HF0 Residency with participation from Founders, Inc, Silicon Valley investors and sovereign funds.The new funds will be used for product development, including building of a 100 kg satellite bus and technology demonstration for re-entry capsules .Founded in 2024 by Rifaath and Clinton D Antony, Catalyx Space offers unmanned space labs and re-entry capsules for multi-purpose operations, such as research, manufacturing, biotech, semiconductors, defense, AI-edge computing, and advertising. It also offers end-to-end services for satellite building and payload integration and claims to have partnered with more than 26 space missions and 24 sub-orbital payload launches.
