Space-tech startup D-Propulse attracts Rs.25-Cr from IAN Alpha Fund
Delhi-based D-Propulse Aerospace has raised INR 25 crore (about USD 2.7 million) from IAN Alpha Fund.Founded in 2025 by Saurav Jha and Ramanujachari V, D-Propulse Aerospace is focused on building propulsion systems for defence and aerospace applications. The company is developing rotating detonation engine (RDE) technology for high-speed platforms such as missiles and drones, which are designed to be simpler, more efficient, and cost-effective than conventional jet engines.The new capital will be used to hire engineers, expand computing and simulation capabilities, and establish limited testing infrastructure, as well as to advance flight-ready propulsion systems and engage in early talks with the Indian armed forces.
