Space-tech startup Satleo Labs attracts $2.2 M led by Unicorn Indian Ventures
Ahmedabad-based space-tech startup SatLeo Labs has raised USD 2.2 million in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Merak Ventures, Java Capital, and IIMA-CIIE.Founded in 2023 by Shravan Bhati, Urmil Bakhai, and Ranendu Ghosh, SatLeo Labs develops satellites capable of capturing both thermal and visual images of Earth, helping track climate changes, farming conditions, disasters, and defence activity in real time.The new funds will be used to advance its thermal satellite mission, invest in its platform for thermal intelligence applications, and enhance its space-based thermal intelligence capabilities over the next 12 months through satellite launch readiness, commercial expansion, and technology scaling.
In Apr 2025, SatLeo Labs had attracted about USD 3 M from GVFL, Huddle Ventures, Java Capital, Merak Ventures, PointOne Capital, SIDBI VC and others.
