Spacetech startup GalaxEye raises Rs.44-Cr in Series A extension
Bengaluru-based spacetech startup GalaxEye has raised INR 44.2 Cr (approximately USD 4.8 Mn) in an extended Series A funding round from a group of existing investors including Mounttech Growth Fund (which contributed INR 18 Cr), Rainmatter Capital (INR 13.5 Cr), Mela Venture (INR 12 Cr), Speciale Invest (INR 8 Cr), LV Angel Fund (INR 4.8 Cr), Anicut Capital (via Grand Anicut Angel Fund), Navam Capital, Faad Capital, Eraya Capital and individual investors including Penmasta Teja Raju.Founded in 2021 by Suyash Singh, Denil Chawda, Kishan Thakkar, Pranit Mehta, and Rakshit Bhatt, GalaxEye builds multi-sensor earth observation satellites. These satellites provide high-resolution imaging and geospatial intelligence for sectors including defence, agriculture, infrastructure, and disaster management.
Between Jun 2021 and Mar 2026, GalaxEye had attracted about USD 14 M from SIDBI VC, Anicut Capital, Infosys Innovation Fund, Mela Ventures, Mounttech Growth Fund, Navam Capital, Rainmatter Capital, Speciale Invest and others.For FY25, GalaxEye had reported about INR 92.37 lakhs in Operating Income and about INR 958 lakh in Net loss.
