Spacetech startup SatLeo Labs raises $3-M led by Merak Ventures

Ahmedabad-based space-tech firm SatLeo Labs has raised USD 3.3 million in a round led by Merak Ventures. The round also saw participation from Huddle Ventures, GVFL, Java Capital, IIMA Ventures, PointOne Capital, Manish Gandhi and Dheer Baldua.The fresh funding will be used by the company to develop dual-band thermal imaging payload, expand the team and obtain regulatory approvals.Founded in 2023 by Ranendu Ghosh and Shravan Bhati, SatLeo Labs develops high-resolution thermal and visible imaging systems from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to provide real-time, actionable insights across climate-sensitive sectors.

In Dec-24, Satleo had attracted about USD 0.20-M from PointOne Capital.
