Spactech startup Inbound Aerospace raises $1-M led by Speciale Invest, Piper Serica
Inbound Aerospace , an IIT Madras-incubated space-tech startup, has raised over USD 1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Speciale Invest, with participation from Piper Serica.Founded in 2025 by Aravind I B, Vishal Reddy and Capt (IN) Abhijit Bhutey (Retd), the company is developing autonomous and reusable re-entry vehicles that can carry payloads to space to conduct in-orbit technology demonstrations and microgravity experiments among other purposes.The fresh capital is set to be used to accelerate the R&D of its re-entry spacecraft, validate key sub-systems and achieve critical design review milestones. Inbound Aerospace is targeting its first re-entry launch in late 2027 or early 2028. The company will raise another round before the test launch.
