Speciality chemicals maker Scimplify to raise Rs.181-Cr led by Hitachi Ventures
Bengaluru-based speciality chemical manufacturing startup Scimplify is to raise INR 181 crore (about USD 19.05 million) in a Series C funding round led by Hitachi Ventures including participation from existing investors 3one4 Capital, Accel India, Omnivore Capital, and Bertelsmann Nederland.Following the completion of the Series C round, 3one4 Capital will remain the largest external shareholder with a 15.54% stake, followed by Accel India with 13.84%, Omnivore Capital Management Advisors with 12.14%, and Bertelsmann Nederland with 10.26%. New investor Hitachi Ventures will hold a 3.28% stake in the company.Founded in 2023 by Salil Srivastava and Sachin Santhosh, Scimplify assists enterprises in the development, manufacturing, and sourcing of specialty chemicals. Its platform serves clients across the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and personal care sectors. The company plans to use the fresh proceeds for business expansion.
Between Nov 2023 and Oct 2025, Scimplify had attracted about $ 57 M from 3ONE4 Capital, Alteria Capital, Accel India, Beenext, InnoVen Capital, Bertelsmann India Investments, Omnivore Partners, Others.For FY25, Scimplify had reported about INR 200 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 25 Cr in Net Loss.
