New Delhi-based Arboreal Bioinnovations has raised INR 230 crore in a Series A funding round from EAAA, the alternatives arm of Edelweiss and Omnivore along with existing investor Rainmatter by Zerodha.Founded in 2018, Arboreal Bioinnovations has an integrated technology platform that brings together ingredient engineering, process research and development, formulation science, and precision manufacturing, supporting more than 300 product launches. It provides proteins, sugar reduction solutions, cacao ingredients, and nutraceutical actives, which are custom engineered ingredients.Arboreal will use the capital to expand its manufacturing capacity, strengthen its research and development capabilities, and accelerate the commercialization of its next generation of functional ingredients.
