Spiritual-tech platform Sri Mandir raises $18-M in Series B led by Fundamentum
Bengaluru-based AppsForBharat , which runs spiritual-tech platform Sri Mandir, has raised USD 18 million (about INR 151.1 crore) in a Series B round led by growth capital fund Fundamentum. The round also saw participation from Susquehanna Asia VC and other existing investors Elevation Capital, Peak XV and Mirae Asset VC.The firm will use the fresh funds to scale up operations of Sri Mandir app, onboard new temples, launch additional services and build a comprehensive tech stack for the devotional ecosystem. In the next 12 months, Sri Mandir plans to offer services in five new regional languages.The startup’s revenue from operations jumped to INR 3.5 crore in FY23 from INR 3.8 lakh in FY22.AppsForBharat was founded in 2020 by Prashant Sachan, an IIT Bombay alumnus and serial entrepreneur.
