Spiritual-tech startup Utsav App raises Rs.6.4 Cr from Equanimity, India Quotient
Kolkata-based spiritual tech startup Utsav App has raised INR 6.35 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Equanimity Investments, with participation from existing investor India Quotient.The company looks to deploy the fresh proceeds to expand its operations by onboarding additional temples and boost technology.Founded in 2021 by Sourajit Basu, Ankita De, and Prajata Samanta, Utsav App allows users to book authentic pujas, access e-prasad delivery and consult verified pandits.
In Mar 2023, Utsav App had raised INR 2.00 Cr from India Quotient.For FY24, Utsav App had reported about INR 148 lakh in Operating Income and about INR 34 lakh in Net loss.
