Spiritual wellness platform AppsForBharat raises Rs.175-Cr led by Susquehanna Asia VC
Bengaluru-based AppsForBharat has raised INR 175 crore (USD 20 million) in its Series C funding round led by existing investor Susquehanna Asia VC with participation from other existing investors, including Fundamentum, Elevation Capital, and Peak XV Partners.Founded in 2020 by Prashant Sachan, AppsForBharat’s flagship spiritual tech app Sri Mandir claims to have seen over 4 crore downloads. It enables devotees to book online poojas, make offerings, receive prasad, and access devotional content. The startup plans to use the funds to expand its operations across more than 20 temple towns such as Ayodhya, Varanasi, Ujjain, and Haridwar.
Between Apr 2021 and Sep 2024, AppsForBharat had attracted about USD 42 M from Elevation Capital, Fundamentum, Mirae Asset Global Investments, Peak XV Partners, Susquehanna Asia VC, WEH Ventures and others.
