Sports community startup Khelomore attracts $5-M from Dream11: report
Fantasy gaming app Dream11 has invested USD 4-6 million in fellow Mumbai-based sports startup Khelomore. The deal involved an option for the investor to acquire the target company at a later stage. Khelomore was founded by former cricketer Jatin Paranjape in 2016, and is an aggregator of sports coaches and academies across cities. In August, Dream Sports - the parent of Dream11 - launched a USD 250 million fund to invest in sports, gaming and fitness-tech startups.
