Sports For Life raises Rs.21.57 Cr led by Fireside, Genesia Ventures
Bengaluru-headquartered sports-tech startup Sports For Life (SFL) has raised INR 21.57 crore (USD 2.58 million) in a Series A round led by Fireside Ventures and Genesia Ventures, with participation from Roots Ventures, TDV Partners, and other existing investors.Co-founded by Sourjyendu Medda and Armaan Tandon, Sports for Life operates a platform that integrates academies, leagues, and a technology layer. The firm uses an AI-driven performance system to collect training and match data, generating personalised learning plans, progress reports, and decision-support tools for coaches.The fresh funds will be used for expansion into new cities, growing multi-sport academies, adding sports, strengthening coaching capacity, and building more features into its performance and communication platform. It also plans to invest in livestreaming systems, monitoring tools, and deeper analytics.
In July 2024, Sports for Life had attracted about USD 1 M from Blume Ventures, Roots Ventures and others.
