Sports media co. Nazara acquires 16% stake in fan mgmt platform Stan for $2.2 M
Gaming and sports media company Nazara Technologies (via Nazara Dubai FZ) has acquired 15.86% stake in Bengaluru-based fan engagement platform for gaming industry creators Stan App for USD 2.2 million.Co-founded by Parth Chadha, Stan provides creators with the necessary infrastructure to cultivate gaming communities. Stan claims a user base of over 12 million, with over 80% of them coming through organic and referral-based channels.
Between May-22 and Jan-24, Stan App had raised over USD 5 M from Better Capital, Eximius Ventures, General Catalyst Partners, Others
