Sports-tech co Stupa raises Rs.28-Cr from Centre Court Capital, PeerCapital
Delhi-headquartered Stupa Sports Analytics has raised INR 28 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital. The company will invest the new capital in hiring talent, expand globally, and improve its products. Additionally, it will fuel Stupa's aspirations for expansion in the US, the UK, Australia and the Middle East.Founded by Megha Gambhir, Stupa Sports Analytics offers a suite of AI-driven solutions for advanced analytics of player performance data, broadcasting capabilities and sports digitization tools for athletes, sports federations, broadcasters and fan communities worldwide. It claims to have established over 15 strategic partnerships with key governing bodies and sports federations, primarily in Europe.Earlier, Stupa had raised INR 7.5 crore in seed and pre-seed funding. The firm plans to raise funds again in 2025 to implement data and media rights monetization strategies, and build a B2B2C segment catering to players, coaches and fans.
