Sports-tech platform SportVot raises Rs.32.7 Cr led by IAN Alpha Fund
Mumbai-based sports-tech startup SportVot has raised INR 32.7 crore led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from Anicut Capital, Let’s Venture, Capital A, Succeed Innovation, Garima Vohra (Lucifer Circus) and Gaurav Chanana (Lucifer Sports).Founded in 2019 by Siddhant Agarwal, Shubhangi Gupta and Yash Bhagwatkar, SportVot offers a production, data, and streaming solution stack for broadcasting. The platform has streamed over 500,000 matches across more than 30 countries, reaching an audience exceeding 100 million viewers. The company also helps to discover sports talent from the grassroots of India.The fresh funding will be used by the company for international expansion and to further invest in its AI-led production and distribution capabilities.
Between Jul-22 and Jan-24, Sportvot had attracted about USD 1.54 M from Anicut Capital, Ankur Capital, Capital A, Omidyar Network, Ventana Ventures, and others.
