Sports-tech startup StepOut raises $500-K led by Rainmatter Capital
Bengaluru-based sports performance analysis and ecosystem technology startup StepOut has raised USD 500,000 in its seed round led by Rainmatter Capital. The round also saw participation from IndigoEdge, Marwah Sports Group and Misfits Capital.Founded in 2020 by Jeet Karmakar and Sayak Ghosh, StepOut automates manual data collection processes traditionally handled by coaches and analysts with a remote AI-powered SaaS setup and helps enhance player and team performance through comprehensive data and video analysis.
In Dec 2024, StepOutPlay had raised about USD 1 M from Rainmatter Capital, Others.
