Sports-focused startup Sporjo raises $2-M from Punit Balan, others
Sporjo, an Mumbai-based online education, training, and employability company focused on sports, has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by Punit Balan, Chairman of Punit Balan Group. The funding will be used to expand its product offerings, improve the product experience, scale its team, and drive expansion pan-India and in key overseas markets. Sporjo was founded in 2020 by G Srinivvasan, a sports industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience at Reliance Sports, BCCI, IPL and ESPN.
