Startup accelerator LocalHost raises $2.5 M from Invideo, Red Bull India, others
Bengaluru- and San Francisco, California (USA)-based startup accelerator LocalHost has raised USD 2.5 million from Invideo, Red Bull India, Orangewood Labs, and Eros International.Founded in 2023 by Kei Hayashi, Suhas Sumukh and Hardeep Gambhir, LocalHost operates founder labs where entrepreneurs from various cities collaborate on technical and creative projects in media, software, and hardware. In India, the accelerator conducts a 50-day fellowship in Bengaluru, selecting 15 founders per cohort. It also has operations in Tokyo and Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and claims to have invested USD 1.2 million across 15 startups to date.The new capital will be used to expand infrastructure, enhance hardware capabilities, grow teams in different regions, and support additional early-stage founder cohorts globally.
