Steam-to-electricity conversion enabler Wankel Energy raises $1-M from Shastra VC
Chennai-based cleantech startup Wankel Energy Systems has raised USD 1 million in pre-seed funding from Shastra VC.Founded in 2022 by Balachandran Raju, Gautam Subburaj, Satyanarayanan Seshadri and Vipin V Gopal, Wankel Energy is an IIT Madras and Forge-incubated startup that offers innovative energy efficiency solutions. Its flagship product, 'The Phoenix', is a steam expander that converts wasted steam energy into electricity.
