Stress-reducing wearables seller Sychedelic raises $3.5 M to build mental wellness headphones

Delhi-based wearable startup Sychedelic has raised USD 3.5 million in a seed funding round from investors including Cultadvisors, TurboStart, Ideabaaz, and Praveek Ventures, alongside several angel investors.Founded in 2020 by Ria Rustagi and Bhavya Madan, the startup initially operated as Neuphony, focusing on EEG-based neurofeedback headbands to track brain activity. The startup has since pivoted to develop AI-powered headphones designed to reduce stress, improve focus, and support sleep through real-time biofeedback and neuromodulation. It has operations across India and the US.The new funds will be used to support marketing, scale its manufacturing operations, expand research capabilities, and support its upcoming global Kickstarter launch scheduled for June 2026.
